Meeting with French journalist14.11.2016
On Tuesday, 15th of November will held a presentation of the French journalist Mr. Antoine CORMERY where he will talk about his work as a journalist and also will answer the questions of the students.
Mr. Antoine Cormery is a famous French journalist who had working for such famous French channels as France 2 and TF1.
After obtaining a diploma in 1991 (Paris), he started his career at the Agency of French Press (AFP) and at the International French Radio (RFI). The scholarship “Lauga” gave him opportunity to work on the Europa 1 radio station. Then he joined the team of TF1 (French Television), and also he had been working for 11 years at France 2. Being an economic journalist, he became a Deputy Leader of the Cultural and Social Department of the channel. Within 1996- 2004 he worked as a host of the “13 O’clock News” and after, he continued his career at the “20 O’clock News”. In 2003 he left his job at France 2 and changed it to be the press reviewer for France Info. At the same time, he become the Head of the Training Center for Journalists (CFPJ).
In December 2006, he has become a co-founder of France 24 Channel. Since that time he hosting the Morning News, debates and the Paris Direct Talk Show. Antoine Cormery is a teacher at the School of journalism, at the faculty of Political Sciences, and also conducts professional development workshops for the different international media (such as the National Algerian Radio, the National Television of Mali and Tunisia, the Nessma TV, 2M Maroc, the Lebanon Radio, RTBF and the Ivorian Television).
The presentation will take place November 15th, from 11 am until 12 pm in the concert hall of Miras International School, Astana.
